- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Control Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 - 5 years of experience in power plant design, electrical system engineering, power system analysis, or related fields.
- Basic understanding of VSPP power plant processes, particularly Waste-to-Energy power plants, including operation and maintenance, consumption, and consumables required for plant operation.
- Knowledge of power plant electrical, control, and instrumentation systems, including generators, transformers, switchgear, PLC, DCS, and IIoT.
- Familiar with relevant electrical codes, standards, and technical logic, such as IEC, IEEE Standards, National Electrical Code, SAMA Logic, ISA 5.1 / ISA 5.2, and IEC 61131-3 programming languages.
- Proficient in electrical engineering software and tools, such as ETAP, PowerWorld, AutoCAD, CAD tools, drawing viewers, and Microsoft Office.
- Good communication and coordination skills, with the ability to summarize key issues clearly and work effectively with suppliers, owners, contractors, team members, and internal departments.
- Patient, well-mannered, quick learner, and able to work effectively under pressure with a strong teamwork mindset.
- Fair command of English, both spoken and written.
- Able to travel or work upcountry and abroad when required.
