The SIT engineer shall implement risk based testing principle to identify priority tests and ensure test design will maximize early identification of defects, while fulfilling the need to demonstrate compliance and verify performance, functionality, endurance and reliability of products under test. The SIT engineer shall apply technical specialist judgment to earliest possible detection of defects whilst balancing on time and on budget completion of test activities. The SIT engineer shall develop standardized and reusable (from product to product) test cases for compliance to international standards and maintain traceability to said standards via specialized tools. The SIT engineer shall also maintain log of progress, observations, lessons learned and opportunity for process improvement.The SIT engineer shall provide technical advice to other SIT engineer and the engineering community to ensure testability of requirements, systems and equipment, within the respective division, as well as sister divisions, suppliers and partners.
