- Provide legal advice and guidance to management and relevant departments on business and operational matters.
- Interpret applicable laws, regulations, rules, and government requirements.
- Monitor changes in legislation and advise management on their potential impact on the business.
- Draft, review, negotiate, and provide legal comments on contracts, agreements, MoUs, NDAs, service agreements, purchase agreements, and other legal documents.
- Ensure that contractual terms adequately protect the organization's interests.
- Review contractual obligations, liabilities, warranties, indemnities, termination provisions, and dispute resolution clauses.
- Support corporate governance activities and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Prepare and review corporate documents, resolutions, powers of attorney, and other legal instruments.
- Bachelor's degree in law (LL.B.) or equivalent.
- A professional legal qualification or lawyer's license is preferred.
- Additional qualifications in business law, commercial law, corporate law, or a related field would be an advantage.
- Minimum 3 - 5 years of relevant legal experience in a corporate, commercial, law firm, or project environment.
- Experience in contract drafting, contract review, negotiation, and legal risk assessment.
- Experience in construction, engineering, infrastructure, energy, or Oil & Gas industries would be an advantage.
- Fluent in English both written and verbal (Minimum 600 TOEIC score).
