• Lead and oversee litigation matters, including civil, criminal, commercial, debt recovery, and special cases.

• Drive recovery outcomes and optimize litigation recovery rates.
• Develop legal strategies to improve collection effectiveness and reduce losses.
• C. Fraud Litigation & Financial Crime Matters.
• Lead fraud-related litigation involving identity theft, stolen/lost cards, unauthorized transactions, fraudulent loans, scam activities, forgery, misappropriation, and cyber-enabled fraud.
• Coordinate with law enforcement agencies, prosecutors, regulators, and investigation teams.
• Advise business stakeholders on legal actions against fraudsters and third parties.
• Support evidence gathering and criminal complaint processes.
• D. Labour & Employment Disputes.
• Manage labour court cases and employment-related disputes.
• Advise HR and management on legal risk mitigation arising from employment matters.
• Handle employee claims involving termination, misconduct, disciplinary actions, discrimination, harassment, and employment benefits.
• Represent the Company in labour courts, labour departments, and mediation proceedings.
• E. Civil & Commercial Litigation.
• Handle contractual disputes, tort claims, shareholder disputes, consumer claims, property disputes, and other civil litigation.
• Develop defense and prosecution strategies.
• Negotiate settlements where commercially appropriate.
• Manage mediation and alternative dispute resolution processes.
• F. Criminal Proceedings.
• Handle criminal complaints and criminal proceedings involving the Company's interests.
• Prepare and review criminal complaints, witness statements, and supporting evidence.
• Liaise with police officers, public prosecutors, courts, and governmental authorities.
• Represent the Company in criminal investigations and proceedings.
• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Law.
• Valid Lawyer License in Thailand.
• 8 - 10 years of litigation experience, with at least 2 years in a team leadership role.
• Strong expertise in litigation, dispute resolution, debt recovery, and enforcement proceedings.
• At least 5 years of experience in the banking, financial services, fintech, or consumer lending industry.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.

• This role is based in Bangkok, with relocation and work visa provided for those who aren't yet based in-market.
• No full-remote options.
• Be the key decision maker for certain legal decisions in conjunction with business stakeholders and escalates other key decisions. You will ensure collaborative engagement with teams across the Agoda Legal Team and manage escalations to senior management (including GC and CEO).
• Draft and negotiate international, commercial agreements with a focus on strategic partnerships, B2B, supply distribution, new initiatives, marketing, and public relations.
• Own and lead the legal support with a critical business partner that covers 100% of all supply relationships for Agoda. With a small team you will help develop junior team members coaching and mentoring.
• Actively engage with Agoda senior management at a C-suite level.
• Provide well-reasoned, practical legal advice on a wide-range of legal and business matters and processes. You will be the "go to person" for the Supply team and will dovetail your priorities with their priorities and strategy.
• Be fully autonomous for management of the legal Supply team together with the creation and delivery of departmental and team objectives.
• For Supply stakeholders - lead the provision of advice, strategic direction and commercial solutions relating to litigation and disputes. • Deep experience in dealing with general commercial contracting matters, B2B relationships, procurement and disputes - ideally within the travel or B2B space. This role will be the sole contact for all supply related matters (including disputes) for the Agoda One Supply division.
