• Manages contributing Support Team, who serve as the direct supervisor of the technical staff.
• Provide leadership and direction to the entire support department, including the operation project management team.
• Establishes and oversees the adoption of the support department's vision, goals and objectives at all levels.

• Determine necessary technology advances and educate employees on the use of software and hardware used in an organization's day-to-day operations.
• Coordination of technical and information systems with other peers e.g. Head of Engineering, Data, Infra, and DevOps in an organization.
• Associated with the procurement of Hardware and any service providers involved in the installation, maintenance, inventory management or recycling/destruction of hardware.
• Developing and executing sourcing strategies as well as recommending product, and business process.
• Improving technology, advances in service offerings and improved internal efficiencies.
• Supporting functions to ensure that day-to-day interactions with suppliers are consistent as well as ensuring regular business reviews are conducted, along with achieving cost-effective procurement decisions for the company.
• Dismissing and hiring new staff.
• Job Qualification.
• Bachelor's degree in the relevant IT, Engineering field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in IT Support Manager.
• Business and technical knowledge of designing, deploying and maintaining data centers including associated performance and cost models.
• Business and technical knowledge in the selection of appropriate service providers in support of a wide variety of hardware. This includes various supply chain models and associated pricing strategies.
• Experience in sourcing processes and reviewing, analyzing, drafting and negotiating contract terms with respect to major projects of medium/high complexity.
• Strong presentation skills with the ability to analyze and explain pricing models and contract terms.
• Strong understanding of legal concepts as related to contract negotiations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent relationship management skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with suppliers, and internal business customers, and senior management.
• Work well under pressure, ability to multitask and skilled time manager that is comfortable working under minimal supervision.
• Prior successful people management experience.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities while managing high-volume recruitment processes.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Up-to-date knowledge of the technology industry.
