• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the air and ocean freight forwarding sectors.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients through regular communication and account management.
• Prepare and deliver professional sales proposals and quotations tailored to client requirements.
• Negotiate contracts and terms with clients to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify strategic sales opportunities.
• Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline progress using CRM systems.
• Achieve sales targets and key performance indicators set by management.
• Provide exceptional customer support and resolve client inquiries or concerns promptly.
• Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking activities to promote the company's services.
• What we're looking for.
• Proven track record of success in a sales role, preferably within the logistics, freight forwarding, or related B2B services industry.
• Strong understanding of air freight and ocean freight services, or demonstrated ability to quickly learn complex product offerings.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients at all levels.
• Results-driven mindset with the ability to meet or exceed sales targets consistently.
• Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Fluent in English; additional language skills (particularly Thai or Mandarin) are advantageous.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and business development activities.
• Ability to work independently whilst maintaining strong team collaboration.
