Job Responsibilities:

• Develop instrumentation design packages including P&IDs, instrument index, loop diagrams, and wiring diagrams.
• Select and specify field instruments (e.g., pressure, temperature, flow, level sensors).
• Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISA, IEC, API), Implement safety instrumented systems (SIS)
• Review vendor package
• Review vendor documents and ensure alignment with project requirements
• Conduct HAZOP and LOPA studies in collaboration with process safety teams.
• Support loop checking, calibration, and functional testing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues during commissioning.
• Participate in technical bid evaluations.
• Support cost estimation and scheduling for instrumentation scope.
• Develop equipment and maintenance strategy for field instrument/systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety, industrial and company standards for new field instrument/systems.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Engineering degree from recognized university in instrumentation, Control, Automation with minimum GPA above 3.00
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English with TOIEC score 700 min or IELTS 6.0 min
• Develop and design datasheet specification, application, selection of field instruments including control valve and shutdown valves.
• Experiences in design review, FAT, loop test, SAT, commissioning of Safety Instrument System.
• Understanding equipment sparing, reliability, availability, maintenance cost in term of operational and capital expenses.
• Working knowledge of complex instrument systems such as machinery control system, vibration monitoring, custody transfer and burner management system.
• Understand on engineering drawing and documentation such as Piping and instrumentation diagram, Cause and Effect, Logic diagram and control narrative etc.
• Lead or participate in root cause analysis and reliability improvement initiatives.
• Lead and collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to resolve instrumentation issues.
