Job Purpose

(Senior) Engineer, Engineering System and Methodology. Play a key role in driving and shaping corporate engineering management system, project management & assurance process and its implementation. This job holder will not only ensure the linkage and integration of engineering system with the other work process but also work closely with project team and asset/production to ensure that the engineering system and methodology is live and fit with the current circumstance. To ensure the implementation of engineering management system and methodology be in a good shape, the compliance and assurance activities will be driven by this role.

Key Accountabilities

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and demonstrate proficiency in engineering management system (EMS) and project management & its assurance process
• Understand the engineering management system and project management & assurance processes and be able to identify critical aspects related to the business
• Maintain availability and integrity of engineering standards, procedures, guidelines, and other related documents
• Drive the execution of project assurance program across all types of projects and ensure the levels of project compliance and assurance in place in accordance with the regulatory, engineering policy, legislation, local content requirement, etc
• Facilitate and drive key project management and assurance activities e.g., risk management, project peer review session, etc
• Promote good engineering processes and practices including sharing lessons learned to all concerned parties within the organization
• Keep abreast of the changes in the updated practices, future industry trends, and technological innovations with regards to engineering work processes.
• Define and assess engineering work process efficiency improvement areas, create the improvement programs, drive execution to ensure successful and achievement of defined goals.
• Adopt the digital technology and innovation for work process efficiency improvement
• Maintain availability and integrity of EMS tools and applications, EMS documents (standard, procedure, guideline, etc.) and International Codes and Standards platforms, etc

Professional Knowledge & Experiences

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering or related fields
• Experience in E&P business preferred
• Engineering background and interested in engineering management system work scope
• Project management and/or other recognized auditor/assessor certification preferred
• Having knowledge of/or experience in:
  • Project management process
  • Engineering management system e.g. principle, concept, engineering document management, etc.
  • Business process/ efficiency improvement
  • Digital/Information technology, data management/analytic
  • Engineering assurance process and its implementation

• Having experience of key user roles involving in software / application development, understand how business requirements are translated to software requirements.
• Understand IT basic knowledge e.g. UI/UX design, Application Programming Interface, Database, etc
• Having interest to learn in new digital solutions or technologies.
• TOEIC score is required and above 750 is preferrable

• Good interpersonal and planning, collaboration, and organizing skill
• Good communication (both written and oral communication), analytical thinking, problem-solving and decision making, influencing skills
