The Learning Design & Development Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing innovative learning solutions that enhance employee performance and engagement. This role leverages instructional design principles and emerging technologies to create impactful learning experiences.
This position involves collaborating with subject matter experts, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to assess learning needs and deliver effective training programs. The specialist will utilize data-driven approaches and agile methodologies to continuously improve learning content and delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Instructional Design & Curriculum Development
- Design and develop instructional materials using modern learning technologies.
- Conduct needs assessments and analyze learning gaps.
- Collaborate with SMEs to create engaging and effective learning experiences.
Technology Integration & Learning Tools
- Support the implementation of learning management systems and tools.
- Stay current with trends in learning design and technology.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to assess learning needs and deliver effective training programs.
Evaluation & Continuous Improvement
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and recommend improvements.
Project Management & Administration
- Utilize data-driven approaches and agile methodologies to continuously improve learning content and delivery.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Human Resource Development, or a related field. Experience
- Minimum 7 years of experience in learning design and development, including blended learning and e-learning programs.
- Proven track record in managing and delivering impactful learning initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
- Experience in talent management, career development, and leadership coaching across diverse sectors.
- Advanced proficiency in instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles.
- Skilled in using learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools.
- Strong analytical and evaluation capabilities to measure learning effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and facilitation skills.
- Ability to innovate and adapt learning strategies using emerging technologies and tools
