The K Agro-innovate Institute (KAI), established in 2021 under the Kasikornthai Foundation with unwavering support from KASIKORNBANK, serves as a knowledge integrator dedicated to finding sustainable solutions for the critical issue of watershed forest depletion in Nan province, Thailand. KAI aims to increase per-rai income, reduce cultivation areas, and boost farmers' revenues—all while fostering harmony between human communities and forests.

We are seeking passionate and dynamic professional to join our team in the role of Pharma-Agro Technology Developer.  The role is to be based in Bangkok and required travel to our operation in Nan province.

Role Summary:

Reporting to Pharma-Agro Innovation Team Leader, the role is to translate pharmaceutical and plant-based research into scalable, manufacturable, and regulatory-ready products, connecting researchers, pharmaceutical manufacturers, and PIC from laboratory development through scale-up and technology transfer.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate R&D projects with researchers in extraction, analytical testing, formulation, and pharmaceutical development.
• Translate laboratory-scale research into pilot and industrial-scale manufacturing processes.
• Work with pharmaceutical manufacturers on scale-up, process development, troubleshooting, and technology transfer.
• Support development of dosage forms, formulations, specifications, and quality requirements.
• Assess manufacturing feasibility, GMP requirements, and regulatory readiness throughout product development.
• Identify and evaluate new technologies, processing methods, formulation platforms, and dosage forms for application at PIC.
• Coordinate technical activities among research institutions, laboratories, manufacturers, and regulatory specialists.
• Prepare technical plans, project updates, and technology transfer documentation.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the company.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Pharmacy / Pharmaceutical Sciences.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in pharmaceutical R&D, manufacturing, formulation, process development, or technology transfer.
• Good understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing, scale-up, formulation, and GMP.
• Knowledge of drug registration / regulatory affairs will be an advantage.
• Able to communicate effectively with researchers and pharmaceutical manufacturers across different technical disciplines.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, coordination, agility, and flexibility.
• Proactive in exploring new technologies and dosage forms for pharmaceutical R&D.
