Job Responsibilities:
1. Managing Bangchak Corporation (BCP), Subsidiary, and Consolidated Financial Statements:
âĒ Oversee the preparation and management of Bangchak Corporationâs stand alone and consolidated financial statements to ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS) and legal requirements.
âĒ Ensure accurate and timely consolidation of financial results from subsidiaries, including the elimination of intercompany transactions and adjustments for equity interests.
âĒ Coordinate with subsidiary financial teams to ensure consistency and alignment in accounting practices and reporting.
âĒ Lead the preparation of financial reports for Bangchak Corporationâs senior management and external stakeholders.
2. Tax Planning :
âĒ Develop tax strategies to optimize the company's tax management.
âĒ Plan and oversee the company's tax management at both domestic and international levels.
3. Managing International Tax, Pillar 2 Tax Compliance, and Transfer Pricing:
âĒ Oversee and coordinate international tax matters, ensuring compliance with global tax regulations, including those related to Pillar 2 of international tax rules.
âĒ Develop and manage transfer pricing policies for the company and its subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with transfer pricing regulations and global best practices.
âĒ Analyze and advise on the impact of international tax regulations, transfer pricing, and Pillar 2 tax compliance, ensuring alignment with global tax policies.
4. Shared Service Accounting, Digital Finance, and Project Involvement:
âĒ Manage shared services accounting operations to improve efficiency in financial service delivery.
âĒ Promote and implement digital finance systems and technology to enhance finance and accounting processes.
âĒ Actively participate in key projects across the organization, providing financial expertise and support where necessary. Collaborate with project teams to ensure financial alignment with organizational goals and assist in addressing any financial concerns or risks that may arise during project execution.
âĒ Lead or assist in financial planning and budgeting for projects, and ensure compliance with accounting policies and financial standards.
âĒ Involve in various corporate and strategic projects such as mergers and acquisitions (M&A), business integrations, financial system implementations, and other key initiatives, providing financial insights and guidance to ensure successful project outcomes.
5. Accounting Advisory and Decision Support:
âĒ Provide expert advisory and support on accounting-related decisions to senior management, helping with strategic financial planning, financial risk management, and the application of accounting standards.
âĒ Assist in interpreting and analyzing financial data to provide insights and support key decision-making processes for the companyâs growth and operational efficiency.
âĒ Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial decisions align with accounting standards and business goals.
Qualifications:
âĒ Bachelorâs/Masterâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
âĒ At least 20 years of experience in accounting and taxation, with significant leadership experience.
âĒ Proven experience in managing consolidated and standalone financial statements, overseeing financial reporting for subsidiaries, and handling international tax and transfer pricing compliance.
âĒ Strong knowledge of international tax laws, transfer pricing regulations, and related global compliance matters.
âĒ Audit experience and a CPA certification will be an advantage and strongly preferred.
âĒ Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to work under pressure.
âĒ Familiarity with digital finance and the ability to implement technological solutions in finance operations.
âĒ Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with both internal teams and senior management.
âĒ Proficiency in accounting software and financial tools.
