• Lead and manage the electrical protection and control scope across all phases of the data centre construction project.
• Develop and maintain trackers for system scope, protection settings, coordination studies, action items, and progress updates.
• Coordinate with design consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure alignment with project requirements and grid/operator standards.
• Design & Technical Advisory.
• Provide expert advice on protection schemes, control systems, and electrical system integration.
• Review and validate electrical protection designs, including relay coordination, selectivity studies, and control logic.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, international standards (e.g., IEC/IEEE), and cause-and-effect matrices.
• Support the development and refinement of control philosophies, protection strategies, and functional specifications.
• Quality Assurance & Compliance.
• Oversee QA/QC processes for installation and configuration of protection relays, control panels, and monitoring systems.
• Conduct inspection and testing checks to verify correct installation, wiring, and system functionality.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and industry best practices.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to protection mis-coordination, system faults, and operational reliability.
• Commissioning & Handover.
• Participate in commissioning activities, including protection relay testing (secondary/primary injection), system energization, and performance testing.
• Witness and validate critical protection schemes such as feeder, transformer, and busbar protection.
• Provide technical recommendations during commissioning to ensure system stability, selectivity, and resilience.
• Coordinate defect rectification and ensure proper closure prior to handover.
• Documentation & Reporting.
• Review and approve protection settings files, coordination studies, test reports, and as-built documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of protection philosophies, relay configurations, and system changes.
• Prepare technical reports, issue logs, and progress updates for stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Proven experience (10-15 years) in protection and control engineering within data centre, power / oil and gas systems, or critical infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of protection relays, PMS/SCADA systems, ELV integration, and cause-and-effect logic.
• Experience with protection coordination studies, relay settings, and commissioning procedures.
• Familiarity with relevant standards (IEC, IEEE, etc.) and best practices for electrical system design and commissioning.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.

• We are seeking a Design Engineer (System Design) to lead the development of air conditioning and heat pump systems, focusing on system performance, control logic, and product reliability.
• This role plays a key part in new product development (NPD), ensuring system design meets performance, cost, and project timeline requirements.
• Design and develop HVAC, air conditioning, and heat pump systems.
• Define and manage system architecture and control logic specifications.
• Conduct system performance analysis and validation.
• Support cost analysis and cost reduction initiatives.
• Develop and execute test plans and lab validation activities.
• Manage project schedules and ensure on-time delivery.
• Ensure product quality, reliability, and compliance with standards.
• Provide technical guidance and support to cross-functional teams.
• Contribute to team capability development and knowledge sharing.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in HVAC / air conditioning / heat pump system design.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, thermodynamics, and control logic.
• Experience in system design, testing, and validation.
• Good project coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Good command of English (spoken and written).
• Able to travel/work abroad (1-2 months).
