- This role covers technical program management, process engineering, and Quality engineering. As the Supplier Development Engineer, your job focuses on manufacturing the delivery of packaging parts that's designed to protect the device, and facilitate a great user experience with regards to packaging. In this role, you will cover both the New Products Introduction (NPI) phase and sustaining mass production. The coverage starts from raw material receipt, printing, structural forming, assembly, and delivery from packaging supplier into device factory for application. Early engagement with the Design team, Sourcing Managers, and suppliers are expected for NPIs (e.g., supplier selection, DFM).
