Operating Model Design Consultant (T&O / Human Capital)

As an Operating Model Design Consultant, you’ll shape the structure, governance, capabilities, and processes of HR and workforce functions to deliver improved performance and employee experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver target operating models across HR and business functions, aligning strategy, people, process, and technology.
- Define future-state organizational structures, roles, capabilities, and governance frameworks.
- Conduct current-state assessments, identify gaps, and recommend transformation roadmaps.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across HR, IT, Finance, and business units to ensure alignment and adoption.
- Facilitate design workshops, org mapping, and capability modeling sessions with client teams.
- Partner with change management teams to ensure the new operating model is embedded and sustainable.
- Contribute to proposals and business development efforts by shaping offerings around operating model transformation.
- Leverage data and analytics to drive insights into workforce trends, performance, and organizational effectiveness.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, Organization Development, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- 2–6 years of experience in operating model design, organization design, or enterprise transformation.
- Experience in consulting or in-house transformation roles related to HR, business operations, or digital transformation.
- Strong understanding of organizational structures, capabilities, and governance models.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
- Familiarity with tools such as OrgVue, PowerBI, or enterprise architecture platforms.
- Experience working on digital HR transformations (e.g., Workday, SuccessFactors).
- Industry-specific experience in sectors such as financial services, health, or public sector.
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and facilitation abilities with C-level stakeholders.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
- Comfort with ambiguity and complex change environments.
