Senior Product Development Technologist

The Senior Product Development Technologist leads the local PD team and serves as the technical representative within the local cross-functional team providing support to the global McCormick organization, with a focus on USA, Europe, and Canada. It requires a colaborative leader able to manage both relevant technical aspects and key business concepts.

Project Delivery:

Lead PD projects from concept to co-manufacturer handover, ensuring alignment with cost, visual, technical, and consumer acceptance criteria within defined timelines.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Partner with teams across Marketing, Operations, Quality & Food Safety, Procurement, Co-Manufacturing, Insights, and Regulatory to ensure seamless project execution and alignment with business goals.

Deliver clear, audience-appropriate technical updates and project progress reports. Ensure transparency and proactive issue resolution across all stakeholders.

PD Team Management:

Manage, coach, and develop the local PD team, fostering a high-performance culture. Support individual growth through mentoring, feedback, and development planning to build technical and leadership capabilities within the team.

Influence & Leadership:

Guide and influence internal teams and external partners, including vendors, and research collaborators, to achieve project objectives.

Drive innovation and lead improvement initiatives across the product portfolio, contributing to strategic growth and competitiveness.

EDUCATION

Bachelor of Science in Food, Agro Industry, or related fields.

EXPERIENCE

At least 5-7 years experience in R&D Product Development of food products for worldwide market.

Experience in multi-national company is an advantage

Experience of product development in food manufacturers and new product formulation experience
