An FMCG Category Strategist Team helps grow the FMCG category by using data, market insights, and commercial planning to make better business decisions. The team typically looks at seller performance, pricing, promotions, assortment, and competitor activity to identify opportunities and solve issues. We work closely with cross-functional teams to drive category growth, improve profitability, and ensure we serve the business needs timely.
Candidates who pass resume screening will be invited to participate in TikTok's technical online assessment.
Responsibilities:

• Conduct market research & consolidate competitive insights from e-commerce industries
• Support Category Strategy and Account Management teams in the execution of platform and category initiatives
• Provide support in the extraction and analysis of data to measure sellers' and projects' success
• Produce regular reporting and monitoring dashboards, and respond to ad-hoc data needs
• Support strategic planning and execution of business plans
• Other admin-related work and troubleshooting

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications

• Highly motivated to learn about social commerce, enthusiastic and shows initiative
• Strong analytical skills with good proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Google Workspace tools
• Strong attention to detail, high accountability and collaborative and open to changes and challenges
• Actively enrolled university student who is able to commit to working full-time 5 days a week for at least 3 months

Preferred Qualification:

• Business/Science/Engineering major is preferred
