As a member of our esteemed Technical Operations team, you will be helping to bring this vision to reality by leveraging the most modern cloud-native technologies. At Ascend, you will be part of a team who are directly responsible for improving the lives of millions.

Key Responsibilities

Performs software deployment, change and support operation in production

Design and develop software

/scripts/services to automate tasks in production within DevOps culture

Collaborate with Engineering team and Technical Operations to ensure the quality and speed of service delivery.

Work closely with Engineering teams to define, support and continuously improve the entire release standards and processes.

Investigate, analyse, and resolve incidents together with Technical Operations, Engineering, 3rd parties.

Review and resolve application alerts.

Perform root cause analysis of incidents.

Able to work at night some times.

Essential Skills & Prerequisites

A positive, can-do attitude, who naturally expresses a high degree of empathy to others and is ready for changes and can take on new challenges.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience

Experience/knowledgeable with a broad mix of technologies, including:

Jenkins, CICD pipeline, Git

Container (Docker) and Container Orchestration (Kubernetes, OpenShift, Mesos)

Logging platform (ElasticSearch, EFK)

Monitoring platform (Prometheus, Grafana)

RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ

AWS, GCP, Terraform

Linux (RHEL, CentOS)

Shell script

Programming languages e.g. NodeJS, Python, JavaScript, Go
