Support management decision-making by supporting high quality periodic and ad hoc management information on Value of New Business (VNB) achievement to both local senior management (Excom/Opscom) and senior Group Office stakeholders. Performing the investigation and analysis related to VNB and company’s experience in order to provide key findings and business recommendation of responsible channels. The information should be clearly communicated to both internal and external parties.www.fwd.com
- Prepare Value of New Business report and its related items (i.e. Sensitivity Test, MI Report, NB Strain, Protection Ratio) with high quality analysis (support deep drive analysis, quantifying financial impact, forecasting results)
- Prepare and support the VNB projections on a daily and monthly basis based on given business and economic insights and communicate the outcomes clearly with senior management and related stakeholders including recommendations
- Prepare and support various VNB reports to Group office (monthly and quarterly reports) with high quality analysis (support deep drive analysis, quantifying financial impact, forecasting results)
- Perform and support ad hoc projects assigned independently
- Participate in various meetings with sales channels and related parties to explain key technical drivers of related VNB metrics and provide result-based business recommendations
- Support Cambodia (Actuarial) team on numbers (VNB and its related items) based on Cambodia team and Group Office requirements
- Leverage Thailand team talent by educating Cambodia (Actuarial) team and share them Thailand practices and expertise
- Play a key role to help Head of Department to manage an increasing complexity of an organization and fast paced environment which arises from both internal and external sources include new channels & sub channels (e.g., SCBPT, SCBX) and variety of products and services offered (e.g., FWD Modular Series)
- Act as a true business partner and work closely with Distribution, Product, Actuarial teams get more insights & updates in order to plan and manage key stakeholders expectations in a timely manner
- Actively coordinate with key stakeholders to deeply understand functions and senior management’s information needs
- Supplement additional information related to VNB metrics as requested by other functions
