Major Accountabilities

The Solution Architect is a pivotal technical partner for business owners, tasked with shaping technology to meet business objectives. As the cornerstone of the business-technology interface, the Solution Architect assesses the technical feasibility of proposed initiatives and guides the translation of business goals into actionable technology plans. This role requires a visionary with a robust technical background, capable of preemptive solution analysis to streamline business decision-making. Act as the primary technical liaison for business owners, providing strategic insights on how technology can achieve business goals.

• Conduct initial technical feasibility assessments for new business initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their vision and translate it into a viable technological roadmap.

• Design holistic solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing systems while fostering innovation and competitive advantage.

• Ensure technical solutions are scalable, secure, performant, and maintainable, adhering to the highest standards of quality and compliance.

• Navigate the complexities of banking regulations and technology governance to ensure solutions are both compliant and optimal.

• Lead cross-functional collaboration with System Analysts, Developers, and other IT professionals to ensure cohesive execution of the technology strategy.

• Provide expert knowledge on technology trends, emerging tools, and best practices to keep the business at the forefront of innovation.

• Engage in proactive communication, effectively translating complex technical concepts into clear, actionable business language.

Job Qualification

• Be able to work office hours and occasionally overtime based on project needs but also require utility to support working e.g. air-conditioner, internet access, printer and physical access.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.

• 8+ of overall experience in IT and related field.

• 5-10 years-experience in IT Solution Architecting, preferably related to Financing Service, KYC, Mobile application.

• Extensive experience in solution architecture within a complex business and technology landscape, preferably in the financial sector.

• Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into comprehensive technology solutions.

• Strong understanding of software development life cycles, enterprise architecture frameworks, and IT governance.

• Proven leadership in navigating business and IT stakeholders through complex decision-making processes.

• In-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance, especially within the banking industry.

• Willingness to learn and high adaptability to change.
