- Define and implement QA strategy, processes, and metrics to improve product quality and testing efficiency.
- Establish and maintain standards for API testing, automated testing, and regression coverage.
- Drive continuous improvement in test automation, CI/CD pipelines, and QA practices.
- Leadership & People Management.
- Manage and mentor a team of 13 QA engineers (manual + automation).
- Assign resources, set priorities, and monitor progress to meet project timelines.
- Conduct performance reviews, coaching, and career development planning.
- Test Execution & Automation.
- Oversee test planning, execution, and reporting across functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
- Ensure strong coverage of API testing (REST/GraphQL), automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Postman, Playwright, JMeter).
- Collaborate with DevOps and Engineering teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Management.
- Work closely with Product Managers, Developers, and Business Analysts to understand requirements and translate into test strategies.
- Communicate quality status, risks, and issues effectively to senior management.
- Advocate for quality standards across the organization.
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years experience in QA, with at least 3+ years in a leadership/manager role.
- Strong experience in API testing and automation frameworks..
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Postman, JMeter, Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, RestAssured..
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
- Excellent leadership, people management, and communication skills.
- Experience in performance testing, security testing, and cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- ISTQB or similar QA certifications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Coaching and mentoring mindset.
- Quality-driven and detail-oriented.
