• Analyse current production processes and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost reduction.
• Design and implement lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to optimise garment production workflows.
• Conduct time and motion studies to establish standard operating procedures and performance benchmarks.
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track production efficiency, quality metrics and resource utilisation.
• Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot operational challenges and implement corrective actions.
• Plan and manage capital equipment projects, including layout design and machinery selection for manufacturing lines.
• Prepare detailed reports and present recommendations to senior management on process improvements and investment proposals.
• Train and mentor production supervisors and operators on new processes and efficiency initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards within the manufacturing environment.
• Liaise with quality assurance teams to balance production targets with product quality requirements.
• What we're looking for.
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in industrial engineering within the garment, textile or manufacturing sector.
• Proficiency in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• GSD User Certification will be an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with industrial engineering software and data analysis tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex production data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with ERP or MES systems is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills in English and Thai, with the ability to present findings clearly to diverse audiences.
• Project management capabilities and ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities and experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of garment manufacturing processes, including cutting, sewing, finishing and quality control, is highly desirable.
