What You''ll Do
BCG is looking for Climate & Sustainability (C&S) Consultants, Project Leaders and Principals. You will be working alongside some of the world's top minds in the industry and work hand in hand with the decision makers of our client company, having a real seat at the table. Through your project, you will accompany companies from a variety of sectors and industries through decisive changes in Asia Pacific.
The majority of your time will be spent as part of the BCG C&S team composed of members of different backgrounds collaborating intensively and building a long-term relation with our clients. You will also dedicate time to further develop and deepen BCG's expertise in C&S, as well as supporting BCG Managing Director & Partners in business development initiatives. Most of your time will be spent executing C&S projects and leading project teams composed of members of different backgrounds.
You will:
- Play a critical role in the growth of the C&S topic through case execution, client development, and intellectual property & product creation
- Execute, or provide expertise and support to C&S projects for our key clients in Southeast Asia, Asia Pacific and globally
- Desire to build and spread C&S expertise within BCG and serving as a C&S-hub for the firm to develop new techniques and/or capture new ideas as well as casework experience
- Ability to contribute to BCG''s practice area publications and to BCG''s C&S approach and toolkit, benchmarks, templates, processes, including responsibility for managing and developing 3rd party cooperation
- Work jointly with BCG and client project teams, bringing expertise to the team and to the client on site
- Actively support our business development efforts: client meetings, industry conferences
- Provide mentorship and support to consultants ensuring continuous individual development
What You''ll Bring (Experience & Qualifications)
We're looking for exceptional talent from consulting or industry to join us. You would typically:
- You ideally have more than 5 years of work experience in top level advisory or consulting firm, or industry experience in Climate & Sustainability field.
- Knowledge challenging the "status quo", creating transparency for clients, helping them understand the implications of their costs, synthesising & advising how to improve
- Proven ability to build and maintain senior executive relationships, influencing senior executives'' agendas and supporting critical strategic decisions
- Ability to thrive in a hypothesis-based environment where inductive rather than deductive reasoning is the norm
- Willingness to travel internationally and to work remotely on client sites
- Relevant tertiary qualifications from a top tier institution(s); Master''s degree, MBA or PhD preferred
- Fluent English is a must
- Fluency in any of the ASEAN languages is a plus
