As an integral member of the team, the Data Analyst/Researcher provides research assistance related to issues of technology, finance and economic development

• Analyzing data to identify trends and actionable insights
• Building and updating presentations with the most recent and compelling data points, charts, and studies
• Assists in the preparation of case study presentations, blog posts, working papers, and in the organization of meetings, events, and outreach activities
• Conducts qualitative research, which includes carrying out publication searches, summarizing research papers, and contributing content and analysis
• Monitors, analyzes and summarizes current developments in relevant research areas
• Updates and checks existing data and footnotes; assists with editing and proofreading of publications
• Collaborates with research team to prepare weekly news summaries for blogs and internal news briefings
• Responsible for maintaining and completing Case Report Forms in agreement with the source documentation and in accordance with study protocol

• Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills in Thai and English
• Good analytical and logical skills with attention to detail
• Familiarity with different research methodologies and basic analysis methods
• Analytical Skills: Working with large amounts of data: facts, figures, and number crunching. Will need to see through the data and analyze it to find conclusions
• Critical Thinking: Must look at the numbers, trends, and data and come to new conclusions based on the findings
• Able to maintain a professional demeanor and high level of comfort working with high-profile individuals from government/NGO/international sectors
• Knowledge of and/or keen interest in technology and global economic issues (preferred)
