Application Support Manager

Job Descriptions:

  • Collaborate with end-users to provide technical support and assistance for software-related inquiries and issues.
  • Utilize troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve application bugs, technical glitches, and data discrepancies.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand software functionality and ensure effective issue resolution.
  • Communicate technical solutions clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical users.
  • Document support requests, solutions, and processes to maintain a comprehensive knowledge base.
  • Assist in software testing and quality assurance efforts, identifying potential areas for improvement.
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of support documentation, training materials, and FAQs.
  • Escalate complex technical issues to senior team members or relevant departments as needed.
  • Proactively identify patterns in support requests and contribute to addressing root causes for improved stability.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in application support and technology.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience minimum 5 Year).
  • Proven experience in application support, technical helpdesk, or a related role.
  • Strong knowledge of troubleshooting methodologies and software debugging.
  • Work experience with POS (Point-of-Sales)
  • Familiarity with database management and SQL querying.
  • Experience with Microsoft's Power Platform.
  • Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., C+, Python) and scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, DOS) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
