Core Responsibilities

Advanced Modeling: Design and implement predictive models using supervised/unsupervised learning, regression, deep learning, and cutting-edge Generative AI.

Production & MLOps: Develop robust, scalable, maintainable, and production-ready AI/ML workflows, with a focus on MLOps practices. Experienced in ML/AI serving optimization (low-latency, batch) and understand deployment strategy

Optimization & Safety: Conduct performance tuning, token optimization, and API cost, management while ensuring all models adhere to AI safety, fairness, and privacy standards.

Cross-Functional Team: Partner with Data Scientist, Product Owner, Data Engineering, Developer, and other business teams to translate complex business problems into technical roadmaps.

Engineering Excellence: Raises the team's technical bar by establishing best practices for code reviews, experiment tracking, and documentation.

Innovation: Stay at the forefront of AI/ML trends, proactively researching and applying new techniques or frameworks to solve retail and e-commerce challenges.

Qualification

Education: Bachelor degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information System, or an IT-related field.

Experience: 3+ years of proven experience as an AI/ML Engineer with a focus on delivering advanced AI & Machine Learning applications on a large scale (Retail or E-Commerce business is preferable).

Core Languages: Mastery of Python (Pandas, Scikit-learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow) and expert-level SQL.

Basic ML knowledge: Supervised, Unsupervised, Regression, and traditional AI algorithms.

Agentic AI frameworks like Langchain and Langgraph

Frontend and Backend development and/or integration

Production deployment: Ubuntu, Docker

MLOPs Mastery: Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for ML model experiment tracking, Data Versioning, and real-time monitoring

Familiar with Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and Big Data tools (Databricks)

Understand data structure and manipulation techniques, write clean code, and adopt software engineering techniques.

Nice to have:

Broad domain knowledge of e-commerce and retail business.

Hands-on experience with MLOps tools like MLflow, Kubeflow, or AWS SageMaker.

Familiarity with data engineering tools like Apache Spark, Kafka, or Airflow.

Familiarity with Golang is a distinct advantage.
