• Identify, classify, prioritize, and perform initial analysis of security alerts and incidents based on severity and business impact.
• Investigate security events by reviewing logs, alerts, endpoint activities, and network traffic to determine potential threats.
• Escalate security incidents to internal security teams or technology vendors in accordance with established incident response procedures.
• Coordinate with customers, vendors, and internal teams throughout the incident lifecycle until resolution.
• Track incident progress and ensure timely resolution in accordance with SLA commitments.
• Document investigation findings, incident timelines, identified causes(Root Cause), and recommended corrective actions.
• Support root cause analysis and document investigation findings, incident timelines, and corrective actions.
• Provide regular incident status updates to customers and stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate operational records and update knowledge base documentation.
• Participate in shift handover to ensure continuity of monitoring activities.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance monitoring effectiveness and operational efficiency.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• What We're Looking For.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, Telecommunications, or related fields.
• 1-3 years of experience in SOC, CSOC, Network Operations Center (NOC), IT Operations, or CyberSecurity.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, Routing, Firewall, VPN).
• Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, Endpoint Security, Malware, and Incident Response.
• Experience using security monitoring tools is an advantage (e.g., Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, QRadar, FortiSIEM, ArcSight).
• Relevant certifications such as Security+, SC-200, CEH, CySA+, or vendor-specific SIEM certifications are an advantage.
• Familiarity with Windows/Linux logs, Active Directory, cloud environments, and common security log sources.
• Basic knowledge of threat intelligence, IOC analysis, and the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Able to work rotating shifts in a 24x7 operation.
• Good command of written and spoken English. A valid TOEIC score will be considered an advantage.
