Job Description

• Work closely with Chief economist to define objectives, guide research efforts, and manage deadlines
• Develop in depth understanding of the Thai economy, and the country's fiscal and monetary policies
• Analyze current and long-term issues, both global and domestic, to identify key opportunities and risks
• Use econometrics tools to forecast macroeconomic variables
• Guide and mentor analysts to conduct research
• Write top quality articles and deliver presentations to disseminate EIC's research to SCB top management, clients, as well as the public

Qualification:

• Holder of a Ph.D. degree in economics
• Work experience in economic policy research, consulting, or other relevant function is a plus

• Strong track record of achievements in current and previous employment
• Outstanding analytical and inter-personal skills
• Strong writing skills (Thai and English)
• Able to take initiatives and ownership of assignments
• Inquisitive and willing to go the extra mile
