- Work in Large, Stable Retail Enterprise
- Dynamic Working Environment
- Direct the annual budgeting forecasting exercise and monitoring of expenditure at unit level to ensure that resources are optimally allocated to the respective departments.
- Being the financial expert for my area, interpreting the financial data and creating the insight that is necessary to shape the business strategy for the area
- Providing strong financial support, analysis and challenge for all decision making
- Analyzing new and existing business initiatives, challenging assumptions and highlighting risks and opportunities
- Ensuring appropriate financial governance and control is in place in my area
- Reviewing and agreeing on periodic results in my area, and managing a smooth, robust half-year and full-year process
- Owning all planning and reporting for my area, and understanding the impact on the wider P&L
- Developing and leading a high performing team, giving them the opportunities to be their best
- Forecasting and managing my budgets effectively, always being cost conscious
- Being a great finance business partner by working closely with the business unit and creating an active partnership with both operations and management. Providing support and analysis with understanding and delivering the information in a clear and user-friendly manner.
- Be able to manage complex / big data
- Finance experience in driving strategic priorities in large complex organizations.
- Experience on engaging and working with senior business stakeholders
- Highly evolved financial analysis skills
- Effective team management
