Main focus is on providing world class graded micro-services, allowing all other teams to focus on their tasks and worry free about backend routines e.g. read/write to database, search, etc. You will be also in charge of several data store technologies e.g. Redis, MongoDB, Elastic Search, and MariaDB. Your KPI is high performant, resource efficiency, and near zero downtime services.

• Research technical solutions, perform feasibility studies, and do quick prototyping
• Build reusable, testable, and efficient NodeJS code together with unit tests
• Optimize code for the lowest latency, the highest availability, the highest performance and the best security
• Translate technical requirements into high quality code under challenged time constraint with ease of maintenance in mind
• Continuously improve coding practice to maximize testability, readability and maintainability

• Bachelor degree in computer engineering or computer science
• Technology focused, self-motivated, detail-oriented, proactive in problem solving, and self-improvement
• Positive attitude and ability to work with both non-technical and technical team members
• Solid understanding in algorithms, data structures, and asynchronous programming
• Proficient in NodeJS and commonly used NodeJS libraries such as Express, Socket.IO, Apollo Server, or proven ability to learn on the job
• Experience in common development tools such as Webpack, NPM/Yarn, or proven ability to learn on the job
• Experience in testing tools such as Mocha, Chai, Sinon or proven ability to learn on the job
• Experience in design patterns, unit testing, and test-driven development approach
• Exposure to Agile practice, continuous integration/delivery, and collaboration tools such as GitHub, Jenkins
