Responsibilities :

  • Lead all ice cream division NPD projects developed at FNUL independently.
  • Manage research in compliance with product requirement and food law & regulation.
  • To conduct the necessary test to ensure product quality, stability and and shelf life before marketed.
  • To conduct production trial run to ensure in production capability and product specification.
  • To ensure that BOM for new and existing products in system are correctly.
  • To provide technical specification for purchasing raw / packaging material.
  • Lead all cost saving, process optimization and new/alternate raw & packaging material projects by working effectively with cross-functional team at FNUL.
  • Review technical documents for trial run, Product and process validation.
  • Participates effectively in a technical role in cross-functional teams.
  • Provide technical expertise to customer and Production / QC / Marketing (internal customer).
  • Involve in trouble shooting for R&D related production and quality issues.
  • Propose product prototype according to MKT requirement.
  • Lead FNUL R&D Team.
  • Coaching and developing subordinate capability on the technical skill by using on the job training.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Micro, Bio or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in R&D, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
  • Strong knowledge of global food standards and regulations, particularly for ice-cream or frozen foods .
  • Proven
  • in managing R&D projects from concept to commercialization.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of mentoring and developing talent.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to drive innovation and process improvements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments and with global teams.
  • Passion for ice-cream, with a deep understanding of consumer preferences and market trends.
