Job Description:

To initiate and formulate business strategies and build partnerships with the tech ecosystem that accelerate innovation, support long-term growth, and strengthen the company’s position in the financial and technology sectors. This role serves as a key connector between internal strategy and external innovation, ensuring the organization remains forward-looking, collaborative, and competitive.

· Strategic Development and Planning: Initiate and formulate business strategies aligned with corporate goals and market trends. Lead the strategic planning cycle (annual and quarterly), including goal setting and prioritization. In addition, develop business cases, feasibility studies, and investment proposals for new initiatives.

· Tech Ecosystem Partnership Building: Identify and evaluate potential partners in the tech ecosystem including startups, academic institutions, accelerators, innovation hubs, and technology firms. Initiate and manage partnership conversations, proposals, and engagement models. In addition, represent the company in external events such as forums, summits, and networking sessions.

· Market/Innovation Intelligence and Opportunity Assessment: Conduct research and analysis on emerging technologies, market trends, and industry best practices. Identify technology-driven trends and propose innovative strategies. In addition, identify opportunities to leverage technology advancements and propose innovative solutions to address business challenges and drive growth.

· Performance Monitoring & Evaluation: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of strategic initiatives. Organize and facilitate regular strategic review meetings with leadership and relevant stakeholders to assess progress, discuss challenges, and make necessary adjustments to the strategy.

· Executive Communication and Risk Management: Prepare and present strategic reports and updates to senior management and the Board. Assess strategic risks and recommend mitigation strategies to ensure business sustainability.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related field.

· Master’s degree in business administration (MBA), innovation is preferred.

· Proven experience (at least 5 years) in corporate strategy, strategic partnerships, or a similar role in a tech company, fintech, or digital banking environment.

· Proven track record in leading or contributing to cross-functional strategic projects, building and managing partnerships with external stakeholders (e.g., startups, tech firms, universities, accelerators).

· Strategic thinking abilities to analyze complex information, identify trends, and envision long-term goals.

· Partner engagement and relationship management.

· Strong knowledge of technology trends, emerging technologies (such as AI, blockchain, cloud, open banking APIs), and their impact on business models.

· Strong understanding of banking and financial services ecosystems (e.g., retail banking, corporate banking, payments, wealth management, fintech trends).

· Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.

· Excellent in communication, storytelling, and executive presentation skills.

· Skilled in networking, collaboration, and influence.

· Eager to learn about new technologies and innovation trends and seeks improvement opportunities.
