•Develops and review annual IH Plans for the site or businesses (with Managers' approval).

•Performs Industrial Hygiene activities as identified in the annual IH work plans, including but not limited to;

- Health hazards identification, assessment and control of site/BL health risks.

- Communicate health risk assessment results to business partners for occupational disease control and medical checkup per local law.

- Review new chemicals/crude oil introduced to sites.

•Conduct IH monitoring for health risk assessment program including IH equipment & related software management. (equipment/capital budget requests, calibration and maintenance).

•Provides Occupational Management System support - serves as Technical Expert to provide guidance to business partners at assigned sites.

•Develops and implement local health hazard control programs to comply with Company Health Practices guidance."

•Implements new IHOH CoP improvement/enhancement initiatives as directed by the CoP sponsor and CoP Champion.

•Pro-actively advocates for evidence-based actions and maintains integrity when faced with challenge.

•Performs health related regulations compliance including government reports.

•Provide support to project plans and stewards progress to ensure health hazards are identified, evaluated, communicated, controlled and integrated into projects (from initial phase to start-up phase).

•Provide response to emergency events including but not limited to;

- Evaluate employee/contractor/community health impact assessment.

-Train site assigned SSHE members to conduct fence line monitoring and co-ordinate with medical team to handle injured cases.

-Participates in emerging issues analysis and resolution.

•Conducts training health related modules for new hired employees

•Supports Refinery Business Group common systems development, implementation and continuous improvement including but not limited to;

-Review Refinery monitoring data quality when OEL change as IH Liaisons.

-Review site monitoring data and evaluate the site impacts, provide recommendation to site management, collaborate with sites to implement changes.

Participates in IHOH CoP meeting, teleconferences and activities.

Qualifications:

•At least 3-5 years of experiences in refinery process as Industrial Hygienist.

•Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.), Major Subject: Industrial Hygiene and Safety.

•Lead assessor for Internal and External for occupational health management system

•Peer Assist IH supporting Shutdown/Turnaround events for other sites.

•Continuing education leading to maintaining professional certification.

•Working knowledge of safety, health & industrial hygiene, environment, fire prevention, and legal requirements.

•Good communication and strong analytical skills.

•High proficiency in English for both writing and speaking.

•Strength collaboration to work with site business partners and third parties to achieve objectives.

•Excellent Exposure Assessment and Controls to contribute in an area on exposure assessment and controls, completed stewardship of exposure and risk evaluations and prepared and stewarded the IH Annual Plan.
