Qualifications

Fluent in Cantonese and Engli sh , particularly in spoken and listening communication. Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years of full-time work experience ; or Candidates without a bachelor's degree must have at least 5 years of full-time work experie nce . Willing and able to relocate to and be based in Thailand. Willing and able to work a permanent night shift. Strong verbal communication and active listening skills. Excellent attention to detail and ability to communicate information accurately. Previous interpreting or customer service experience is an advantage, but not required . Must pass a language assessment before joining the training programme. Must successfully complete the final assessment following the training programme. Must have a reliable home internet connection with a minimum speed of 100 Mbps .

Responsibilities

Provide accurate, professional consecutive interpretation between Cantonse and English during live voice conversations. Facilitate effective communication between Cantonese -speaking and English-speaking parties across multiple industries, including: Healthcare – doctors, patients, and medical professionals Banking – bankers and customers Legal and government services Police and immigration services Insurance providers and clients Social services and other essential service providers Maintain accuracy, impartiality, professionalism, and confidentiality throughout every interaction. Listen actively and interpret information clearly while preserving the meaning and intent of the original speaker. Deliver a high standard of customer service during every interaction. Support video interpretation following successful completion of the three-month probation period. Follow company policies, procedures, quality standards, and interpreter protocols. Successfully complete all required training and assessments before deployment.
