Job Description:

As a Migration Engineer at SCBX, you will play a pivotal role in our Cloud Centre of Excellence team, enabling our portfolio companies in their cloud adoption and migration journey. Your expertise in cloud and application architecture will be instrumental in assessing existing applications and creating compelling business cases for migration. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with our overall cloud strategy while fostering innovation and continuous improvement.

Core Responsibilities:

• Engage in deep architecture reviews and technology assessments for architectural excellence.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to support their cloud adoption and migration journey.
• Translate developer needs into technical requirements and optimize cloud architectures for performance.
• Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and support to foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in consulting and client-side roles or a combination of both.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as TypeScript/JavaScript, Java, Python, or Kotlin.
• Hands-on experience with cloud architecture (preferably Azure), DevOps, and Quality Engineering best practices.
• Broad understanding of the entire project lifecycle, from project inception to operational excellence.
• Working knowledge of agile delivery and scaled agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
