Associate / Senior Associate | Digital Asset Strategy & Partnerships

Role Summary Join SCBX’s Digital Asset Business team to help identify, develop, and execute strategic opportunities in blockchain, digital assets, and frontier technologies for financial services. This role combines business development, partnerships, research, structured analysis, and project execution. You will work with external partners and internal stakeholders to explore new business opportunities, support pilots and strategic initiatives, and translate emerging technology trends into actionable business directions.

What You’ll Do

• Drive external opportunities and partnerships: Identify, evaluate, and engage potential partners, including fintechs, digital asset companies, technology providers, financial institutions, and ecosystem players. Support partnership discussions, opportunity assessment, proposals, follow-ups, and progression from initial discussion to concrete next steps or pilot opportunities.
• Develop business cases and strategic recommendations: Frame opportunities clearly, define hypotheses, success metrics, market potential, risks, and evaluation criteria. Build executive-ready materials, memos, and recommendations that translate research, partner discussions, and analysis into clear business direction.
• Manage initiatives and pilots end-to-end: Help scope projects, clarify requirements, coordinate internal and external stakeholders, track milestones, manage timelines, maintain data packs or preliminary models, document key decisions and learnings, and prepare progress updates or readouts.
• Craft research and market insights: Conduct market, competitor, regulatory, and trend research across digital assets, blockchain, tokenization, stablecoins, payments, fintech, and related frontier technologies. Turn findings into research notes, outlook papers, presentations, and actionable implications for SCBX.
• Build ecosystem presence: Support ecosystem engagement through conferences, industry events, partner meetings, community initiatives, and internal or external events. Help identify relevant ecosystem players, represent the team professionally, and convert market signals into potential business opportunities.

What We’re Looking For

• Commercially minded and external-facing: Comfortable engaging partners, building relationships, following up proactively, and identifying concrete business opportunities.
• Strong BD, partnership, or strategy track record: Able to show clear, quantifiable results, such as signed partnerships, revenue impact, pipeline generated, users acquired, projects launched, costs reduced, or strategic initiatives delivered.
• Digital asset experience preferred: Experience or strong interest in digital assets, blockchain, tokenization, stablecoins, Web3 infrastructure, fintech, or financial services innovation is preferred. Candidates without digital asset experience will also be considered if they have strong BD, partnerships, strategy, or project execution experience with measurable outcomes.
• Strong communicator and storyteller: Strong writing, verbal communication, and slide-craft skills in English and Thai. Able to turn complex topics, research, and analysis into clear narratives, executive-ready materials, and persuasive recommendations.
• Analytical, organized, and execution-oriented: Able to structure problems, reason with numbers, sanity-check assumptions, use Excel effectively, manage multiple workstreams, and follow through with strong ownership and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
• 2 to 8 years of experience in business development, partnerships, strategy, consulting, business analysis, PMO, innovation, fintech, digital assets, or related roles. Final level will depend on depth of experience, ownership, and track record.
• Experience in financial services, fintech, digital assets, blockchain, technology, venture-building, or ecosystem development is a plus.
