Senior Engineer – MEMS Test Key Responsibilities Test Process Ownership: Develop, optimize, and sustain MEMS production test processes to ensure stable manufacturing performance, product quality, and customer requirements. Failure Investigation & Root Cause Analysis: Perform on-site failure investigation, analyze test failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions. Yield & Data Analysis: Analyze production yield, test results, and process data to identify trends, improve process capability, and drive yield improvement initiatives. Process Improvement: Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance test efficiency, reduce defects, improve equipment utilization, and increase manufacturing productivity. Customer Support: Support customer quality issues and engineering requests by performing technical investigations, data analysis, and corrective action implementation. Test Equipment Support: Own and maintain production test equipment, coordinate troubleshooting activities, and work with equipment vendors to improve system reliability and uptime. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Engineering, Process Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Reliability, and R&D teams to resolve technical issues and support new product introduction (NPI). Documentation: Prepare and maintain engineering reports, work instructions, process documentation, FMEA, control plans, and engineering change documentation. Continuous Improvement: Utilize statistical analysis tools (SPC, DOE, MSA, Cp/Cpk) and structured problem-solving methodologies (8D, Fishbone, 5 Why) to improve manufacturing performance. Training & Technical Support: Provide technical guidance and training to technicians and operators to ensure consistent execution of production test processes. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Physics, or a related engineering field. 5+ years of experience in semiconductor, MEMS, photonics, or electronics manufacturing. Experience in production testing, failure analysis, process engineering, or manufacturing engineering. Strong analytical skills with experience in root cause analysis and statistical problem-solving tools (DOE, SPC, FMEA, MSA). Experience with production test equipment and automated manufacturing systems. Knowledge of electrical measurements and data analysis tools such as JMP, Minitab, or Python is an advantage. Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills. Experience in cleanroom manufacturing environments is preferred.
