Investment Banker
ที่Kuvera Capital GroupThe role will focus on:
Fund Raising
1) Originating capital (equity and structured finance) raise transactions from listed and unlisted space.
2) The target market will comprise of companies having a minimum revenue size of $10mm USD to $50mm USD,
3) The person will be the relationship interface with the client and will work closely with the product teams within for the capital raise transactions.
4) The person must also have independent relationships with PE Funds
Business Development
1) Responsible to charter the road-map for organic growth for each of the dept in the company.
2) Identify the growth engines for each department and align the resources to ensure profitability at a company level
3) Evaluating new avenues of growth (cities/segments etc) & Conducting opportunity analysis by keeping abreast of business trends and competitor moves to achieve market-share metrics
4) Understanding the client business and finance requirement through management meets and discussions
5) To explore various fundraising options for the clients depending on the nature of their business and strategies.
6) Structuring the transaction by advising the clients on various types of equity/debt options and deals so as to match the associated risks with Risk Appetite of the clients.
7) Acquire a new client by conducting research on local market identify potential business opportunity and establishing personal contact with them.
8) Making Business development and marketing plan to achieve new target
9) Making presentation to the prospective client as a part of sales pitch
10) Meeting and developing relationships with practicing CAs, CSs, and Lawyers.
11) Strong networking with corporates FI's/FII's/ Domestic and Foreign Institutions/ Consultants/Clients
12) Maintaining relationships with clients throughout the transaction process and after closure for exploring future business potential
Primary Responsibilities:
1) Identifying prospects suitable to approach i.e. reputed mid-sized corporates (Identification may be done on basis of Revenues/Industry/Rating etc.)
2) Approach, Breakthrough & Meet Top Management (Promoters/ Directors/Decision Makers/CFOs) of these companies to explore opportunities of partnering with the firm for raising equity funds
3) Discuss & identify opportunities (Domestic Funding) of adding value to the company on the funding front
4) Negotiating & closing mandates with suitable companies to take up the fundraising assignment
5) Coordinating with the company & the internal deal execution team to close documentation.
6) Having existing connects with decision makers of mid-sized companies will be an added advantage in this role
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor in Business Administration; Majoring in Finance or Economics
- MBA/CFA is a plus
- Possess strong relationships across SME/Mid-size corporates
- Good, proven, origination skills and track record of origination activity: evidenced by past interaction with CFOs, Promoters to originate transactions
- Team player with excellent communication skills.
