Your Role and Responsibilities

Role Job Description:
The Level 2 SOC Analyst will be responsible for identifying and responding to advanced cyber threats within the organization's networks and systems. This role will be a part of the organization's security operations center (SOC) team and will work closely with other members of the SOC and incident response teams to ensure that all cyber threats are identified, analyzed, and addressed in a timely and effective manner.
Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze network traffic, system logs, and other data sources to identify potential security threats
• Triage, respond and contain advanced cyber threats, including malware, APT, and zero-day attacks
• Support on forensic investigations to identify the scope and cause of security incidents
• Collaborate with incident response teams to develop and implement incident response plans
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including the leadership team, on the status and impact of security incidents
• Work with other members of the SOC team to develop and implement security best practices and processes
• Continuously improve the SOC's capabilities and processes by staying current with the latest cyber threats and technologies

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cyber threat analysis and incident response
• Strong knowledge of SIEM (QRadar/Splunk,Arcsight)security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and endpoint protection
• Experience with forensic tools, incident response methodologies, and threat intelligence platforms
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong team player and able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Certifications such as GCIH, GCIA, GCFA, CEH, and CISSP are a plus.
