Senior Game Programmer

Bit Egg is looking for a Senior Game Programmer to work on Zecha Tactics, our upcoming mecha tactical RPG.

You will work directly with our lead programmer and game designer to implement tactical gameplay, AI, and other game systems.

Our ideal candidate has an excellent sense of game feel and aesthetics, is able to work independently and improvise as needed, works well with our team, and is as passionate about making great games as we are.

Location: Bangkok, Chiang Mai, or remote

Note: Our Bangkok team works remotely 2 to 5 days out of the week under normal circumstances

Requirements:

- Good programming sense - can write and understand well-structured code, and also know when to break the rules and not overengineer

- Unity, C# expertise

- Comfortable with flexibility and iteration, as the project is still under heavy development

- Ability to communicate in English - our lead programmer and game designer both only speak English

Good sense for game design, not just programming role

Nice to have

- Familiarity with tactics and strategy games

- Experience in a team leadership role
