API Developer/Designer

develops the API Proxies and the Microservices to ensure that all technical capabilities within the bank are exposed via standardised APIs that conform to the bank’s security and also API standards. This is a developing role whereby the right candidate will function within a Center of Engagement organisation to provide advice, guidance and where required, technical implementation for any API initiatives within the bank.

Requirements :

• Design and build APIs using Microservices frameworks.
• Collaborate with the cross-functional development team to define and design the API
• Compose design documents, diagram, user manual.
• Support users testing.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Sciences, IT, or related field.
• At least 1 year experience as a Java Developer 

Fresh Graduate with proven technical knowledge are welcome

• Good knowledge in computer programming language.
• Knowledge of Relational Databases (SQL/ PSQL)
• Strong problem-solving and logical reasoning skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skill (English would be advantage).
• Proactive, self-motivated, systematic thinking, fast learner and positive attitude in teamwork.

Experience in one or more of the following will be an advantage: *

• Good understanding of Web Services (SOAP, REST) and message formats (JSON,XML,YAML)
• Java Framework (Spring Boot, Camel)
• Knowledge of Unit Testing.
• MQ technology (RabbitMQ , IBM MQ)
• Streaming technology (Kafka, Pulsar)
• Schema design ( WSDL, OpenAPI, Apache Daffodil)
• CICD (Source control, build/test/deployment automation)
