Group Sourcing Supervisor

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Drive for success of direct material procurement team performance (KPI) (Cost savings, best landed cost, Payment term improvement, Supplier relationship management, Supplier performance) according to the defined targets.
  • Collaborate with internal and external clients to ensure team is providing the necessary support to help obtain their business objectives/initiatives.
  • Interface with regional and global team to improve supplier system and performance.
  • Negotiate cost, lead-time, MOQ and flexible inventory plans with vendors and suppliers
  • Identify category specific cost and Market Intelligence data sources.
  • Conduct Supplier Risk Assessment develop mitigation action with Ownership.
  • Identify and drive supplier selection process to get the best competitiveness.
  • Lead supplier contracting process and provide leadership for the team to drive contracts
  • Operate Document Control (according to Policy, Procedure, WI).
  • Maintain a supplier database with contact information, order history and pricelist.
  • Manage Supplier development, Supplier relationship management (SRM) to improve supplier performance, communication and business continuity.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelors or Master’s degree in Engineering and Supply chain Management
  • Minimum 7 - 10 years of experience in Strategic Sourcing & Operational Procurement activities
  • Prior experience in manufacturing/industrial sector is necessary, preferably Construction Industry.
  • Strong financial/business acumen is a plus
  • Excellent Thai and English language skills (both verbal and written)
  • Experience in ERP system, Microsoft dynamic AX, advance of Microsoft excel and PowerPoint and Power BI
  • Outstanding leadership capabilities, ability to communicate a compelling vision for the supply management organization, and ability to drive results while developing a strong team
  • Ability to work in a fast pace, results-oriented environment under minimal supervision
  • Leadership opportunity in a global organization
