Demand Planning is the demand growth engine for Grab. Work is inter-disciplinary – a combination of advanced analytics, customer segmentation, marketing strategy and positioning.

The team will be focused on growing demand efficiently, with projects covering overall strategy, ideation, experimentation and driving implementation of key initiatives.


Get to know the Role :

We are looking for a Marketing Communication Specialist to deliver smooth in-app marketing communications and assist the Demand team on marketing and promo operations tasks to drive growth.

You will take full responsibility and get an opportunity to help execute creative and impactful communication in a fast‐paced industry.


The day-to-day activities :

Marketing Communication

  • Design and execute in-app communication messages e.g. push notification, inbox, pop up, etc.
  • Work with cross-functional team to execute Demand generation marketing campaigns
  • Work with cross-functional teams to drive execution
  • Work with the creative team to develop communication assets for marketing campaigns and promotions


Marketing Operations

  • Support Demand Planning team in executing Promotions, Rewards, Packages, Challenges, Customer segmentation and other tasks related to Marketing initiatives
  • Ensure high accuracy and efficiency in operations process through process improvement project
  • Assist the team with marketing administration and operations tasks


The must haves :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Arts or a business related field
  • At least 1 year of experience in related fields (Fresh Graduates are welcome!)
  • Goal-oriented and can execute fast: Track record of success in achieving targets on time in a rapid growth, start-up environment
  • Resourceful and creative: Can develop creative, innovative ideas for marketing through different channels to reach, engage and grow
  • Highly detail-oriented: Ensure the quality of all marketing materials and communications
  • Good command in Thai and English: Fluency in spoken and written English is preferred
  • Computer literacy is required e.g. MS-office, Excel is a plus
  • Comfortable to start with a contracted role first (1 year)
