Key Responsibilities

Analyze business and functional requirements related to Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) processes.

Design, develop, enhance, and maintain COBOL programs on the PaNDA core platform.

Support the migration of accounting functionalities from ERP systems to PaNDA.

Develop and maintain batch and online programs, interfaces, and related system components.

Design and implement accounting-related processing logic, including:

Accounts Receivable transactions

Accounts Payable transactions

Payment allocation and settlement

Reconciliation processes

Accounting journal generation and posting

Perform impact analysis and provide technical recommendations for system enhancements and changes.

Prepare technical specifications, program designs, and supporting documentation.

Execute Unit Testing and support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues in accordance with service level agreements (SLAs).

Ensure data accuracy, system performance, and compliance with internal control requirements.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects according to timelines and quality standards.

Provide post-implementation and production support.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience in COBOL application development.

Experience in core system, legacy system, or mainframe application development.

Experience in the insurance, financial services, or accounting domain is an advantage.

Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
