Key responsibilites

• Attend GOLFTEC University, GOLFTEC’s comprehensive training program. Participate in continuing education to enhance skills (distance learning, seminars, etc.)
• Use professional expertise to recommend teaching and learning content, creating custom lesson plans for students of varying skill levels
• Recommend appropriate GOLFTEC services for each student’s need, including TECFIT Club Fitting, outdoor playing lessons, short game lessons, etc.
• Document each lesson given and publish recaps to our online portal using GOLFTEC’s proprietary TECSWING teaching software
• Maintain the GOLFTEC Training Center environment, equipment, and technology
• Focus on maintaining high coaching quality and driving the development/training program for Junior golfers.
• Oversee and ensure the overall quality and accuracy of the club fitting services within the center.
• Perform daily opening & closing functions for the Training Center, including preparing GOLFTEC teaching systems for use
• Proactively manage customer leads, ensure timely responses, and drive customer satisfaction.
• Manage coach availability, lesson scheduling, and optimize center capacity.
• Supervise overall center operations, including technology maintenance, upkeep, and strict adherence to company SOPs.
• Deliver personal teaching hours while actively driving individual and center-wide sales production.
• Mobility is an essential function of this career. Coaches generally need physical capabilities to stand, bend, kneel, or crouch for sometimes extended periods and lift items weighing more than 30 pounds.

Compensation

GOLFTEC Coaches work together as a team. GOLFTEC Coaches are paid a competitive base rate along with commissions, bonus opportunities, and other performance-based components. Base compensation is in the form of an hourly rate plus overtime, and is based on location, and experience. Monthly commissions, bonus opportunities, and other performance-based compensation components are based on the Center’s performance as well as individual performance.

Requirements 

• Certified Golf Instructor (GI) or passed the professional golf instructor examination
• Prior experience as a golf coach/instructor is highly preferred and will be given special consideration
• Basic to good command of the English language
