Category Director (Senior Manager/Head)

Bangkok, Thailand (Full-time)

• Own the vision and strategy for all service clusters, ensuring alignment with Fastwork’s growth objectives.
• Define and monitor growth targets (GMV, conversion, retention, CAC efficiency) and ensure delivery across categories.
• Oversee execution of demand-side initiatives that drive buyer growth, improve funnel conversion, and boost retention.
• Ensure high-quality execution of campaigns, content, and promos that differentiate Fastwork’s marketplace.
• Drive cross-category initiatives to improve platform performance and buyer experience.
• Champion innovation within the category team to stay ahead of market shifts and user needs.
• Lead and develop the Category Management team, providing direction, mentorship, and performance feedback.
• Partner with Marketing, Product, Operations, and Partner Growth teams to align category goals with supply and buyer demand.
• Build external partnerships (where relevant) to enhance category visibility and growth.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in e-commerce, digital platforms, or marketplace businesses, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of driving category or commercial growth strategies with measurable impact.
• Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills; highly proficient in data analysis and business reporting.
• Excellent leadership skills with experience managing managers or multi-level teams.
• Strong communication and presentation skills in both English and Thai, comfortable working with senior stakeholders.
• High sense of ownership, results-driven mindset, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Experience leading multiple categories or clusters simultaneously in a marketplace or platform business.
• Familiarity with Southeast Asian markets and service marketplace dynamics.
