Job Description

• Provide formal strategic coaching to enhance the team’s proficiency in business strategy formulation, analytical rigor, and strategic planning discipline
• Formulate bank-wide goals, strategic imperatives, and success metrics in collaboration with senior management, and cascade them to the business unit level with clear milestones and deliverables
• Conduct research and analysis of market trends, the competitive landscape, and regulatory developments to identify opportunities and threats to the bank’s business
• Co-develop portfolio-level strategies with business units, identify areas for improvement, recommend strategic solutions, and translate them into actionable plans for cross-functional projects to enhance business unit and overall bank performance
• Set bank-level Balanced Scorecard (BSC) and executive KPIs, ensuring alignment with bank-level targets across business units, including the SCBX Group
• Develop and implement performance metrics and reporting frameworks to regularly monitor progress and deliverables toward strategic goals and objectives
• Provide guidance and support to business units in executing strategic initiatives by facilitating cross-functional collaboration and driving execution, ensuring alignment with the bank’s overall strategy

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in strategic planning, corporate development, or a related field. Experience in the financial services industry is a plus
• Demonstrated experience in developing and executing strategic plans and initiatives
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights
• Strong English language skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior management and key stakeholders
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive results in a collaborative environment
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry trends within the financial services sector
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, exercise initiative, maintain strong attention to detail, and consistently meet deadlines
