Your Role

You will manage and bring to manufacturing portfolio of solutions to accelerate their business transformation and improve their industrial operations across both process and manufacturing scenarios. Role is responsible for collaborating with business leaders in assigned functional areas and IT partners both within business area and group functions to help define business requirements for technology solution and able to leverage your deep domain expertise in manufacturing operations to give relevant recommendations to business leaders and IT partners.
This role would contribute to a wide range of activities including leading ERP, Shop floor and Warehouse solutions in coordination with various business and regional teams. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in designing, implementing and/or operating manufacturing solutions ranging from ERP solution, Shop floor control to Warehouse management. Experience in managing suppliers and partners in Asia in an outsourced supply chain model is preferred. Flexibility and adaptability are key attributes needed for success. This role should also have strong analytical, project management and leadership skills to handle a variety of activities and complexities spanning the organization and be willing to work at both a very detailed and strategic level.

A Typical Day

• Participate in business process/department/functional group activities within respective area on regular basis to understand business needs, challenges to help facilitate improvements and contribute to group initiatives in manufacturing domain.
• Strong collaboration and facilitation skills – responsible for collaboration sessions needed across BA to document requirements, current and future state processes, and provide solution and thought to leadership on how to best use technology to solve business challenges.
• Support sites to validate functional specification documents in alignment with BA strategy and provide guidance to technical team on functional design, business processes and overall value of solution
• Monitor current system performance of information technology systems across different manufacturing sites and make actions or recommendations for improving the IT technology
• Management of escalations from business regarding incidents and requests, troubleshoot application, hardware and software issues related to internal IT
• Works closely with Management to provide input on IT budget planning and coordination of IT initiatives, innovative solutions, and proactive service support on request
• Lead in all IT transformation program related to Manufacturing and follow IT government model to ensure change management within organization
• Support to deploy IT infrastructure strategy, cyber security strategies and create protocols for business continuity and a disaster recovery plan.
• Establishes IT standards within manufacturing, methods and procedures and ensures the Service Domains within the IT Team's area of responsibility are meeting the requirements of the Business
• Lead and collaborate with IT team to drive common IT solutions and value continuously, operational excellence and efficiencies while ensuring proper communications and governance for those common solutions
• Support and encourage the professional development of the IT teams

In this role, you will be dealing with Electrolux's Internal & External customers. You should be confident in dealing with leaders both from a country level and region level perspective.

EDUCATION

• A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience

EXPERIENCE

• At least 10 years' experience as IT Manager and has ERP/Shopfloor manufacturing roll out experience is must. Experience to manage IT as region is plus
• Experience creating process maps, gathering business requirements, writing functional specifications, writing user stories, creating test plans and writing test scripts.
• Strong understanding of respective functional area and how it interacts with upstream and downstream processes
• Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, application databases
  and landscape
• Ability to translate business strategy and requirements into functional specifications
• Strong in managerial skill, able to propose organization to handle activities under responsibility, excellent in team coaching and development
• Experience leading and managing large IT projects and rolling out IT applications across various technologies
• Strong verbal/written communication skills and ability to communicate technical terminology at levels
• Self-motivated with the ability to effectively prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to work in a team environment and take initiative
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
• International working experience is a must
• Good collaboration skills, proven ability to form strong cross-functional relationships with varying business partners in global setups. Ability to form strong teams and create an environment of curiosity and delivery focus
