Responsibilities

Role Purpose

Design, develop, and maintain Group core and shared solutions to enable speed, reusability, and cost efficiency, while ensuring scalability for future growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Solution Development
• Develop applications and services in alignment with Group architecture and coding standards
• Build reusable components, APIs, microservices, and integration services
• Design solutions that meet scalability, performance, and security requirements
• Agile Delivery
• Collaborate with Solution Owners, Business Analysts, and Data teams in an Agile environment
• Deliver high-quality solutions through iterations and sprints
• Quality & Standards
• Implement unit testing and automated testing practices
• Ensure code quality, version control, and CI/CD pipeline compliance
• Adhere to secure coding practices and Group IT policies
• Support & Continuous Improvement
• Support deployment and resolve production issues
• Continuously improve system performance and reduce technical debt

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related fields
• 3 - 8 years of experience in software development (depending on seniority level)

Technical Skills

• Strong logical and analytical thinking
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript
• Experience with APIs, microservices, cloud platforms (Azure / AWS), and SQL / NoSQL
• Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and system integration
