IT Strategy and Governance Specialist

Position Purpose
Be a cognizant of Group’s IT Governance standards, adapt the same to local BU requirements and ensure compliance within IT workstream. Chart out pathway and implement strategic initiatives for IT to be able to adapt and align with continuously evolving IT topography with aim to build the foundation of sustainable and future ready IT roadmap. Oversee adherence to the architecture strategy, principles and framework throughout IT workstream.
Key Responsibilities:
Governance
- Monitor the changes in Group’s IT Governance standards, analyze, adapt and implement the same to local BU requirements and ensure compliance within IT workstream.
- Measure and monitor requests for IT services and the resulting work and deliverables, in a more consistent manner that optimizes returns to the business.
- Provide meaningful and tangible IT Insights and accountability to management.
Strategy
- Drive IT transformation efforts aligned to organization’s transformation strategy roadmap and facilitate move towards an agile, product based operating model.
- Implement technology strategy based on business objectives and stakeholder analysis including adopting appropriate approach/methods, facilitation techniques and deliverables.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in related field
- More than 10 years of experience in working on IT strategy and technology innovation best practices and trends. In depth knowledge of identifying, assessing and implementing next in class technology roadmap.
- Knowledge of Insurance domain is preferred
