Business Development Manager for Service Business

  • Responsible for business growth, filter and qualify leads and speedily build a pipeline of opportunities and will thoroughly research & become knowledgeable about prospect industries and clients
  • Lead and manage the Sales team to achieve business goals and objectives
  • Lead the project sales approach to vertical partners and targeted clients and deliver against sales target
  • Maximize growth opportunity from existing partners ensuring plans and activities are in place to meet projections and create contingency plans to address any challenges
  • Accountability for the end to end sales and implementation process to ensure successful delivery of deals
  • Innovative approach to business and building partnerships
  • Strengthen the channels and improve the processes through continuous development
  • Work with sales team and channel partners to achieve business plan
  • Possess the expert knowledge to identify opportunities for change and the ability to convey the need for change
  • Provide the strategic sales strategies in achieving the target growth & revenue numbers
  • Provide leadership direction to the team and coach them in delivering their outputs
  • Be familiar with the current market trends and conditions as well as good knowledge & network of the consumer electronics industry
  • Manage operational efficiency and capital budget
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science or business administration or related fields
  • At least 5 years up of experience
  • Minimum 12 years proven experience in project or B2B channel with at least 5 years of experience in Management level as Sales Manager and above
  • Experience in IT/ Telecommunication Business: Vendor or Key Distributor would be an advantage
  • Strong network in Large Corporate/ Telecommunication/ Government/ Finance/ Construction/ Private Sector, Dealers/ Partner/ Channel Management
  • In-depth knowledge of corporate market needs and skilled in addressing them
  • Extremely organized and highly motivated
  • Willing to win with a track record of building a sales pipeline and exceeding targets
  • Excellent communication & negotiation skills with high presentation
  • Strong business acumen to develop and execute complex deal constructs
  • Ability to contribute within a dynamic team environment
  • Ability to perform and work under tight schedules plus high pressure
  • Excellent of both spoken & written English and computer literacy
